October 2009 marked a significant turning point for us as we bid farewell to corporate and city life and embarked on a new adventure. Moving across the country and ditching our business suits for rubber boots, we became alpaca farmers.
A century old farmstead in the pastoral community of Birch Hill, Prince Edward Island, was lovingly transformed and became the home of Green Gable Alpacas.
