I don't like polyester socks. I mostly wear handknit wool socks but they are not always comfortable on a hike or when my feet get hot. These Trail Socks are excellent! Not too tight but do not slide off, my feet don't burn or sweat. So comfortable!

The 100 % alpaca is so so soft. People are envious of the feel. Like all wools of this texture care is to be taken when knitting

I bought both the Storm Socks and the Trail Socks. The Storm Socks are gifts so I have only tried them on. The Trail Socks are for me and I LOVE THEM! I went for a hike the other day and my feet did not hurt, burn, or sweat. Highly recommend.

Beautiful wool, amazing colours, fabulous service, and to top it off? I have a chance to chat occasionally with the 4-legged crowd who supply their wool!

Support in the shoes keeps temperature of feet where they should be, keeps them cool or warm depending on weather outside. SOFT! Love they can be worn over and over without washing each time. Perfect when camping. Multiple uses

I visited Green Gables Alpaca farm in August with my family, and I am very happy we did.
I have been looking for just the right socks for walking. I am training for the Breast Cancer 3-day - 60 mile walk in November. Since training I developed calluses on both feet to where I needed to apply moleskin. I purchased 2-pairs of Trail Socks. Wow! They are soft, well cushioned, and my toes fit well and are not tight. My feet aren’t wet and sweaty after walking. The best part is I don’t need to apply moleskin on my feet any more. My feet and socks are dry!
I also bought socks for Winter, I’m ready for snow, well at least my feet are.
